How to get Started?

Getting your site listed on MyBB Topsites is very simple. Just follow these steps and you’ll be ranked in no time.

1. First prepare a banner to be displayed with your site. The maximum dimensions are 500 x 100.
   An image is not required but it makes your listing look a lot better.
2. Now go to the “Join” link in the navigation and fill out the required information. This is also where you upload your image, if you have one.
   Please submit the link to your forum if it is not the index of your site. (e.g. yoursite.com/forum as opposed to just yoursite.com)
3. Now you have to wait for your site to be approved. The sites are manually approve, mostly just to be sure that you’re actually running the MyBB software, not just desperate for ad space. I normally approve the site within a few hours, it just depends when i am on the computer – it should take no longer than 24 hours. But don’t worry if it isn’t approved, it will get done.
4. Now that your site has been approved (If it hasn’t then why are you still here?) you can log into your User Control Panel (see the navigation link) and get your link code. You’ll need to place that code somewhere on your forum (e.g. the footer). The image will display the current rank for the forums in positions 1-10 and a static image for others.

There you go! You are ready to rise through the ranks and work towards becoming the #1 MyBB forum on MyBBTopsites.com.

Please note – If your site is no approved within 24 hours, it is most likely because you have not followed the rules
